Microblading, also known by eyebrow embroidery, microstroking or, 3-D hairstroke is a technique that minics hair like strokes that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair for a
natural looking eyebrow. The procedure is done by using a hand tool with ultra fine needles and each ‘hair’
is gently etched into the upper region of the dermis , giving an incredibly natural and realistic look.
Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrow and is excellent for those wanti ngto enhance their brows or who have little to no eyebrows, thinning brows from age or over tweezed brows.

* Typically lasts 1-3 years

We use lidocaine to numb the area and reapply throughout the procedure. Pain is minimal, if at all.

It’s not worth risking your health to save few bucks on Groupon or at a nail salon when it comes to Microblading. It is very important to consider skill and standards on top of cost when selecting your artist. At 3D Microblading Eyebrows we cut no cost and use all disposable tools, the best pigments and pride ourselves on a clean facility beyond health code requirements for the safety of our clients.

You have to get clearance from your doctor before getting Microblading.

Microblading can  last 6 months-3 years depending on skin type, sun exposure, after care & skin regimen. We recommend annual touch ups to maintain color and shape.

You do not have shave off your brows before Microblading, in fact, we can blend the hair to make it look even more natural. If you have black brows and want a lighter color or vice versa, we recommend getting them tinted to the color you prefer before your Microblading appointment, so your technician can color match to that. You can remove the hair if you’d prefer. We do recommend getting the unwanted strays either waxed or threaded before your appointment as to not over irritate the skin the day you do Microblading.

You want to consider a couple of things if you have ethnic skin. Ethnic skin often has issues with micro pigmentation. If you have any scars that have turned white, if you keloid or have any tattoos that have raised skin over the tattooed area or did not heal well we do not recommend microblading. Also, the microblading will fade 30-40% on average so if you have a darker skin tone you are risking it fading substantially and may not be visible when your skin heals over.

Scar tissue has a more difficult time gripping pigment. Some clients take the pigment well and others may need a few more sessions.

There is no down time after Microblading. Redness and swelling will go down after a few hours. You want to avoid moisture and anything that can cause infection for a few days after Microblading.

You want to avoid anything that can thin the blood including medication, alcohol and caffeine. You want to be off fish oil and harsh skin regimens for at least two weeks before Microblading. If you tint your brows, you should do so a week before. You do not want to tint after, until Microblading is completely healed. If you get botox we recommend getting it done 1-2 weeks before your appointment to make sure muscles have settled into place.

Yes, we clean off the area before beginning.

We recommend not swimming or going in the sauna for two weeks. You want to avoid sweat getting on the treated area for a week to avoid infection and fading.

Yes, you can adjust color and shape at your follow up and touch up appointments.

Microblading is technically a tattoo so we require all clients to be over 18 and have ID.

You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breast feeding. We cannot use lidocaine or risk infection.

For the first Microblading session, the entire procedure should take about 3-3.5 hours. During this
session, the brows will be shaped and styled for client approval. We then follow with pigment color
selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.
The client is to come in for a follow up visit in order to have any minor necessary touch ups
The “touch up” takes place after 4-6 weeks after the initial session.

** This session will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.

The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and color will appear very dark. This  is norm a lfor the procedure and part of the healing process. The color will fade by up to 40% as it heals. In thefollowing days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. Do not pick atthe scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the microbladed area. The eyebrows will
lighten up in color as it heals. No down time is required after microblading procedure. It takes
approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You’ll
notice the color is very light right after the two weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky
looking quality to it. This is known as the milk skin and is common in tattooing. This is due to the the
tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. True color will reveal
itself once healed.

Yes! A touch up session after 4-6 weeks is necessary as everyone heals differently and outcome will
vary. Certain areas may not pick up during first session and will need to be refilled. Pigment color may
need to be adjusted, brow thickness and more strokes can be added. Individuals with oily skin often
require a deeper shade during the touch up session as the oils tend to lighten the pigment. Most
importantly, your touch u p session is when we refine your brows to ensure it looks perfect and retains thecolor for the whole year!

Touch up sessions should not be done earlier than 4 weeks after initial microblading session as pigmentcolor has not fully settled into  th e skin. Most importantly, this is to prevent scar damage as the tissuerequires time to completely heal.

cooled downed boiling water. Gently wipe away the old healing balm and any lymphatic liquid
(clear yellowish liquid) that may have built up. Lightly pat dry with tissue and using a new q-tip,

  • Make sure to apply a light layer of healing balm morning and night to brows for at least 5-7 days.
  • Do not over apply healing balm.

  • Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 24 hours.
  • Brow area will feel slightly itchy as it heals and will start to lightly scab over. Do not peel or pick at
the scabs as this can affect the outcome and pigmentation.
  • Do not go swimming, tanning or into saunas for at least 14 days.
  • No face scrubs or chemical peels at least 2 weeks after.
